British cockroach, id like to find pictures and info?

Question:huge brown thing flew in house, i dunno if itsa beetle or(i really hope not) a cockroach, it was big, had a point at its rear end and was a polished woody colour, i took a pic too, not sure wot it is, god im blonde :/
