Do those electronic things really kill spiders or keep them away?

Question:I really hate spiders, and I wanted to buy some of those plug-in bug killers/repellers. Does anyone know if they actually work?

Answers:
Not sure about that but I take a spray and go around the outside of the house spraying the cement. It seems to help

No, they do not work, save your money.

Spiders make webs in the parts of your home that are drafty. You might work on removing some of the air leaks.
No they don't work. You know its bad luck to kill a spider if it weren't for spiders we would be up to our armpits in flies. They won't hurt you, they are more frightened of you than you are of them. Why not try and live with them and let them do their job. If you can't ,catch them in a glass and put them outside.Good luck.
it depends on the kind and company that makes them.

spiders keep all the other bugs in your house under controll. you should keep them
educate your self on what types of spiders your dealing with keep the good ones and kill the dangerous ones 1 at a time
spiders are a very essential part of our Eco system, they eat flies, mosquito's,roaches, and every other pests,if you want to get rid of them caulk, all the holes in your house, plumbing, doors windows.
