How to eradicate cocroaches?

Question:how can i eradicate cockroaches in my house i about to suffocate from insecticide sprays without any benefit

Answers:
If you live in a house call the professionals..Roaches lay thousands of eggs and they hatch at different intervals.Meaning you spray once a month and they hatch next month..and so on and so on..A professional will use a substance that will kill for a few months then he will return and spray again..Usually it takes to sprays to kill them all..If you live in an apartment , will it wont do any good unless all the apartments are being sprayed at the same time.

You need a professional exterminator. Look in yellow pages. If there aren't many you could just stamp on them but they are crunchy and its unpleasant.
give in - move out, i had the same problem with rats, they're much happier with the place to themselves, they dont always remember to pay the council tax though best to set up a direct debit for them
Boric acid, a powder sold in the bug killer aisle at hardware stores. Foolproof and really truly works.
buy a specialist spray or get rentokil in
Put a roach bomb in the house and leave or call the bug man
if you have the money
also start keeping your house a little more cleaner also,
they start from dirty clothes, not washing dishes, leaving plates in the sink and just not being clean it .
put all bags you bring in the house with food or anything in the trash.make sure that all water faucet are turn off after each use tightly, they like water.
if you get them out of the house put all thoses old clothes and paper in the trash before someone cal the city health department on.
you are a bad housekeeper i can't put it no other way
Good hot fire works pretty well

We live in a wooded area in the country and are often invaded by the roaches from the surrounding woods. We have tried all types of sprays, had exterminators out and the best thing that we have found to get rid of them is plain old boric acid powder. Sprinkle it around the cabinet tops and along the floor in front of the cabinets. It will get rid of them. If the eggs hatch out and you see baby roaches, repeat the process. This could take several dustings to totally eliminate the infestation.
Also, don't leave food, dog and cat food, etc. setting out. It attracts the roaches.
Very difficult. If you are in flats or even in a row of houses, it is likely that your neighbours will have them too. You all need to get the bug man in (the Council can help though they may charge) as they will migrate particularly in the warm weather. SOme of the other answers are quite right. If you kill the adults the eggs are left behind and hatch out later so you need to be sprayed again and maybe several times. They will probably come back though as they are very persistent. Good Luck
