Mix cheyanne pepper powder in the soil of your flower beds. No more squirrels.
Also, pull the hair out of your hair brush and spread around the bottoms of the plants-squirrels will stay away from the human smell and hair is virtually undestructable.
go to a feed store and get a squirrel trap they cost about $35.00..
it's a live trap you catch them and can move them.
put wire or cages around the plants, also, put in place a feeder for the squirrels
We have a large garden with raised beds as well as several fruit trees. Normally we protect the more precious fruits and vegetables by covering them with the black netting sold at Home Depot, Lowes and Garden Centers that one would put over trees to protect from birds. We use this on our fruit trees and several tomato cages and then put something heavy on the ground like bricks to hold the black net in place. Sqirrrels are quite intelligent and they realize the difficulty if their claws became tangled in the black web netting so they leave such trees alone.
Hope the info helps!
