Is WD40 bad for paint?

No, unless your talking about interior flat or eggshell wall paint. I use WD40 to clean with in my shop. Clean everything from the tools, desk, sinks and countertop, etc.

no..i use it every winter...i spray it on my truck trim and leave it there until spring.it pervent rust.it's good for cleaning chrome as well.
