What is a good organic pesticide to use on tomato plants?

Question:Our plants have tiny black bugs munching away. We don't have the green fat worms usually found on tomato plants.

Answers:
I make my own bug spray, here's how I do it.

You need...
1 pouch of chewing tobacco
2 gallons very warm water
1 TBSP lemon dish soap (dont use more than indicated)
2 oz Listerine mouth wash
2 gallon tank sprayer

Make a "tea" by placing the pouch of tobacco in the water. Let this set overnight until the water has a nice dark color to it. Then you need to strain out the solids, I use an old jelly bag strainer.

Pour the "tea" into the tank sprayer, add the soap and Listerine. The soap helps the spray stick and the Listerine disinfects any damaged areas on the plants, caused by the bugs damage.

Spray this on your plants until it's running off. Use or lose the spray, it doesn't keep longer than a few days.

Tobacco "tea" was one of the very first insecticides used by man and it's still very effective.

Chewing tobacco soaked in water and then use the water after a good soaking 1-2 days. The tobacco contains nicotine which is an insecticide. You could also include garlic, onion, and chili-peppers to the mix, with a small bit of biodegradable dish soap like Dawn (regular not antibacterial)
