For my bamboos that are in water with rocks...?

Question:the stems seem green colored, but the roots are brown - and the leaves are turning yellowish...what do I do?? how can I help the bamboo to survive? helppppp

Answers:
Is this a "Lucky Bamboo?" Which is not a bamboo at all, but is a Dracaena Sandereana.
Your leaves are yellow because they are not getting water due to the roots shutting down...brown. The roots are probably rotting.
Pull the plant out, rinse off the roots in the sink and set it on a towel for an hour. Meanwhile, wash everything in your container with soap, water and a little bleach. Rise well!
Refill, drop the plant in like a cliff diver and watch for a happier plant.
...also remember to change your water often and do the above cleaning periodically.

I had the same problem. I cut off the yellow parts and it saved the rest of the bamboo chute from dying. If it's too late for that and the bamboo can't be saved, take the dead one out so the rest won't die.
