Are there any companies that will tear down an old house and haul it away at no charge for the wood?

Question:Does anyone know if there are companies that will dismantle and remove an old house for the wood and pay you for it or at least dismantle it and haul it away at no charge, since they would get all that old lumber for free from the frame? I would think that someone would as long as the wood isn't dry rotted nor has any insect damage. I just don't know which companies would do this. Also, the house I would want torn down has a red rock foundation. Does anyone know of any companies that might use the red rock for something else and haul it away at no charge?

Answers:
Try Habitat For Humanity. They will reuse any materials that can be salvaged from the house.

Look under used building materials in your local yellow pages. Those companies either tear down buildings or know who does. They'll give you a bid based upon what they can recover. The actual wood value that can be recovered is minimal. The demolition companies are much more interested in doors, windows, fixtures and any architectural millwork along with copper pipe and such.
