How can you get rid of flying ants?

Hi There: I know how you feel, we had them at our trailer! I read a website where they tell you to use Peppermint Oil. Just put a few drops on your counters and under your sink, or where ever they are coming in. Just wipe that area with the Peppermint Oil (which can be found in health food stores). Its safe and easy to use and if you like the smell of pepperment it makes your home smell minty! I have tried it and so far its been working. I am also going to get some of the raid for the outdoors and put peppermint oil on the stairs and on the entrance way. Good Luck!

the same way you get rid of regular ants...you find their mounds, get killer, put it on the mounds and around your house...read the directions on the killer...(Lowes, Home Depot)
are they flying ants or swarming termites, either way they don't fly very far
Flying ants those are probably termites better get an exterminator
Flying ants are attracted to lights, including that emitted from your TV when it's turned on.
They usually appear after a day of rainfall.
They will die in a day, you just have to sweep them up.
