Ant problem?
Question:We have those little bitty ants (I'm guess sugar ants or something like that) all over my house. Does anyone know of anything that we can spay or something to get rid of them. They are everywhere in my bathroom my kids bedroom my livingroom and kitchen.

Going to sound strange, but pour cinnamon where they are coming in. I had ants in my bath tub, and that's the only thing that got rid of them. Poison did not work.
mix dish soap and water in a spray bottle, the ants hate it. it wont ruin anything either and is safe around kids, i use Dawn soap
There is a spray called

It's for indoor and outdoor insects.
While using that... make sure you clean up the soda cans and crumbs.
(also it doesn't have an odor, so it should be safe as well)
Baby powder. Fills their insides and they can't breathe.
When i had an ant problem i read that if you put slices of cucumbers around the house (inside the rooms), that it would help keep them away. My family and i still saw a few ants around but the amount we saw and how often we saw them went down greatly.
Those little bitty ants are probably comming out of some kind of small hole. You should inspect carefully where they are comming out from. I always use RAID ant spary.Avalaible at Wallmart. Works like a charm. Spray generoulsy at all nooks and corners. Leave it overnight.. And clean any splatters in the morning. Usually it does not leave any spary marks. And also have an tolerable smell. It always works for me. You can also have an exterminator come in and inspect your house. But trust me RAID works the best. Good luck...

If they are that bad you will have to call an exterminator
i have also heard of cinnamon..burns their bellies when they walk over it and my gram swears by sasafras oil on cotton balls..get it at health stores.then you dont need to worry about chemicals your kids may get exposed to..

I bought a couple of boxes of Grants Kills Ants stakes and put them all around the periphery of my house -about every 10 feet. If you can get under your house put some there too. Then I used Raid for quick jobs. You don't have to use a lot of Raid to do the job. One quick spray will get rid of ants. Keep windows open for awhile after you spray.
take away their source of food. Keep jam and honey in the fridge, make sure the floors are extra clean.
