When we moved my husband got rid of his Columbian Red Tail Boa snake to a local guy that goes to schools and shows the animals....Try that.
Ok..I have three kid, a yorkie and have had scorpian problems in the past. Several times a year we an outside insecticide around the perimeter of our home. We also use one inside around doors and baseboards..go to your local home depot to find the brand in your area that is safe for use inside.
Make sure you do not have any rock or wood piles near your home. Also...look at every window and door for even the tiniest opening and calk it.
We still get a couple during the year but nothing we can't handle. I've been stung...it's not pleasant!

Blah... I live in Texas so there are tons here...Getting rid of them takes time, even with a professional exterminating service. They can live as long as seven years and are very hardy! Dusting your attic with diatomatious earth helps. Sealing all the cracks in your house, including those around light fixtures, light switches, baseboards, etc. also helps. Pay special attention to recessed lights and ceiling fans. Check under the toe-jams and in the back of the cabinets in your kitchen and bathrooms and fill in any holes. Good luck!!
If it were me, I'd use a blowtorch, drown them or smash them between a couple of bricks! Those things are dangerous! Don't everyone get mad at me...I love animals, just hate creepy crawlies.
