3.5 biggs and stratton will start but won/t run?
Question:will start on low throtle opening but won/t run machine is about 14 years old and hasn/t been maintained
Answers:
i would do the following-
1) drain gas tank
2) replace fuel line from tank to filter(fuel)
3) replace fuel filter
4)replace fuel line from filter to carb
5) open carb and make sure yuor float is in good shape, clean and moveable
6) check spark plug.replace if nessecary.
Your carbuerator fuel jets might be gummed up with
varnish deposits, it may need cleaning.
Oil change, condenser, points and new spark plug
Clean carb, check the throttle vane
