Texas Yellow bells bit the dust??

Question:I had planted these bells last fall, and I thought they had wintered well, even after the hard frosts we recieved. However as the summer heats up, all four are stunted, under a foot tall, flowerless, and failing. I had planted them against our north and west walls, three get full sun and heat, one gets partial sun, and tons of heat. Everything else is doing well, I'm wondering if I need to move these before its too late! which brings me to my second question! Where to I move them, and will the tolerate it? Daytime temps are 100 and up lately. THANKS!
