I have the same problem every year. And the fix is really simple. Just put a wedge underneath it, to lean it back, so the water drains outside.
You must tilt it back so the water drains out the back. Use a level to be sure.
sounds like it isn't level.. yes it produces condensation and if it isn't leveled right, it will leak.
This is most likely water that condenses in the unit. Level it so that it drawings to the outside. Condensation will be greater in humid climates.
