What kind of flowers are in bloom in September in Idaho...zone 5?

Question:looking for wedding flowers and want to know what is seasonal at that time

Answers:
I used to live in northern idaho. I remember cosmos bloomed really well into september, and it makes a great cut flower. I'd also try purple coneflower.

Ah, you might want to go ahead with a florist on this. You can arrange a "wildflower looking" boquet...it doesn't have to be all roses and orchids.

September in Idaho can bring snow. Most flowers are pretty well blommed out by then as they are preparing for dormancy.

Roses are one thought, the last bloom cycle of the year. Mums, maybe asters tho for me they are more August. Maybe coreopsis, liatris, solidago and sedums.

Hope you are early September...and the weather cooperates.
