did they ever try to haggle w/u to try and basically get the old item for almost free? how do you deal w./extreme cheapo's when u already priced ur item for a cheap price anyway?
and was ur tag sale for the whole weekend?

Have fun and remember the idea is too own nothing at the end of the day..my days ended at 11 a.m.
One persons trash is anothers treasure...just remember that when you are having a garage sale. treat it like you love all of the stuff you are getting rid of.people will always try to haggle you, and if you want to get rid of stuff, you will haggle right back.
if it's advertised at all, expect early birds. make sure you have plenty of change. keep valuables near the cashier. have bags for purchases. sales depend on whether it is for yourself or a nonprofit group.
we made $1800 over two weekends. as soon as the sun was up, people showed. people do haggle, but that's the fun of going to garage sales. the buyer will always get a deal, deep down they know that, that's why they will always talk you down, cause they know you just want the stuff gone.
