Does anyone know how to get earwigs (pincher bugs) out of your house?
Question:I have had the pest control service come out to my home and spray numerous times but still I have an infestation of earwigs in my home. Help!! I hate these bugs and they are driving me crazy! Someone please tell me how I can get rid of them.

Earwigs feed during the night on decaying vegetable matter.Some species feed on plants. They are often found under stored timbers in the sub-floor.
any of the sprays you get at a hardware store should do the job if you pay attention to the areas mention above
You can get a chemical from Bunnings Warehouse, it is in the pest control section, mix it with water and spray the areas where the earwigs are, they will soon die and go away
About 3 years ago we moved into a place that had an ant infestation of the likes I had never seen before.
It was like something out of a horror movie I mean it was so bad that we couldn't eat at the table without having to smash ants as they were attacking our plates.
I had to flush ants out of my sons ears and every morning I had to spray the kitchen floor and mop it and vacuum up the rest of the ants in the entire rest of the house.
If my husband brought home a pizza and set it on the table within seconds it would be crawling with ants and at night after falling asleep they would get in the bed with us and cover the entire bedroom floor.
I'd sit up in bed and put my feet on the floor and they'd suddenly be covered in ants and my son would cry becuase they'd be in his hair and ears.
They even managed to somehow find a way into my fridgerator and freezer and every morning I would have to clean up dead ants from inside my freezer and vacuum them out of my refridgerator by the hundreds.
Finally I'd had enough and called a different exterminator and asked why nothing was working and he said it's because the environmentalists made it against the law to use anything that works.He said that most chemicals aren't all that effective and have to be used more than once to take effect on the infestation.But he did recommend something he said works really good and is better in most cases than what exterminators use.
He said it's called 'Home Defense' and you can buy it at Home Depot for about $7 or $8.
So I went and bought some and used it inside and outside my place and never saw another ant ever again.
What a relief it was to wake up the next morning and not have to spend 4 hours killing ants and checking my sons ears.
So try that.Go to Home Depot and buy Home Defense and hopefully the earwigs will go away for good.
