Why not build a house to keep dust out?

Question:Every home in America deals with dust to a certain point.

If you want a clean house you need to keep that dust out.

The secret is simple, but yet contractors don't offer homes to prevent it.
Dust is going to be a major contnributor to illness in our Nation.

Answers:
Dust is already a major contributor to Asthmatics and those smitten with Allergies. But not all dust is air driven. If it were so, then the answer would be simple-keep windows and doors closed. But dust is also in the air in homes and comes from- Dust mites in bedding, upholstery, animals, human skin etc. The answer as you say is to keep it out, which for most part is impossible. But clean around home with Antiseptic wash.Done on a regular basis will help.

We create a kind of dust from our skin and when the doors are opened and closed so there is no realistic way to keep ALL dust from our homes. The best way to keep dust down in a home is to make sure the furnace is running well and the filter is changed often-between every month to every 3 months for the more top of the line air filters.
start building ahha
would that not be wonderful...any ideas
The reality of this idea has come to more fruition in the last few years. Homes are being built to "tight" and not allowing the house to breathe. When this happens, you are actually trapping harmful dusts and moistures that create just what your trying to rid of. The best way to keep dust down is ventilation and circulation thru out the house. We as humans create our own dust that fall into our linens, carpent and clothes. You sweep, vacumn, and wash things that only stir things up. With proper circulation these particles can be trapped into a filter at the furnace or air cleaner. Good idea but be prepared.
