Ant Prob please help(10 to best)?
Question:I have a serious ant problem in my room, and i don't know where they are comming from. what are some easy ways to get rid of ants without any chemicals or sprays, HELp PLease!

Try and find out where they are coming from. Then Put Black Pepper in and around this area. The ant´s will then carry this into the nest , The egg-laying queen will then move the ants out. Also I suggest you keep all sweet food´s out of your room , this is their favorite snack, any little crumbs on the floor , they will eat them. So if you remove their snacks they won´t bother you any more. Pass the hoover , just in-case
First you need to find out where they are coming from and why they are coming in.
Ants usually come into a room after a food or water source.
So Clean the room really well. Then you are going to have to find the entrance point. And spray with something. If you don't like man made chemicals. Try the organic route. Boric Acid is safe for areas with children and animals. Also ants dont like mint for some reason so either plant mint near where they are getting in or brew some strong mint tea and spray spray spray.
Do a search for organic insecticides and you'll find all kinds of solutions. But Boric Acid should be available at any hardware store.
There's sticky paper and there's ant motels, and then there's what I did for my ant problem. I looked really hard for where they were coming from -there was a hole in my wall and they were coming in through it so filled in the small holes with hot glue.
THEY MAKE BORIC ACID IN A POWDER FORM AT WALMART, YOU PUT IT AROUND THE BASE BOARDS, IN CRACKS AND WINDOW SILLS, IT WORKS GREAT AND IS HARMLESSS TO YOU
Boric acid powder works great IN the walls. Please be careful it is NOT HARMLESS to humans.
So far as I know, this recipe is harmless to people and pets.
Dissolve 1 teaspoon boric acid (which you can find at any pharmacy), 6 to 12 tablespoons sugar in 1 cup warm water. Next, poke some pencil-sized holes around the base of a small plastic bottle. Place cotton balls in the plastic bottle and pour the boric acid mixture in it until the cotton is saturated. Leave the bottle near the ant trail. The ants will eat the liquid and carry it back to their nest where the boric acid will kill them after a few days. This will be an ant feeding station for a while, so be prepared for a lot of ants to begin with.
