How do i extract a skunk family out from under my concrete patio?

Question:We had a mother skunk move under our patio and have her babies. They are now old enough to venture out. One even fell into the window wells and had to be removed by animal control. We put the young one back with the mother and now need to remove all of them.

Answers:
This is a tricky ordeal. In my experience I have seen people use have a heart traps. Put cat food (wet) inside, but use a bottle opener to puncture the can (without opening it) after you set the trap, cover the entire trap (accept the doors) with a thick blanket, but make it so you can grab the blanket and trap all at once. Once you start catching them, call animal control to come remove. Be cautious, this "trapping" is illegal in some states, but I know I wouldnt want skunks in my yard either. Happy Hunting :)

The only thing I know about skunks and their nests, is... you have to move them more than about 10 miles away, otherwise they find their way back.

It's probably best to hire some professional animal removal experts.

.
call animal control or a critter remover company to come and get them. U could try putting out a cat trap with whatever food skunks like to eat and catch them that way. If u get all the babies, mom will go away. Then fix ur porch so they can't get under again.
