We have ants in our house never had them before, what do i do to get rid of them?
Question:we have scaffolding out side house and have been havin sme repairs done on house do u think that the builders have disturbed the ants and made them come inside house

most likely. keep you house clean and buy some ant killer. worked with the roaches (not the ant killer lol)
My apartment had an ant problem when I moved in. I went to Walgreen's and bought some ant traps and that cured the problem rather quickly.
I think ants are afraid of sulphur.
hi i am mandy, and i work at the garden center in walmart so i know some about ant problems and the good chemicals to get to get rid of the lil pests. for inside your home alot of people use something called home defense max it come in several differnt sizes and is inexpensive. but for the outside of the home there is a bag of granuals called over n out and its suppose to last all year long its good but it is about 20 dollars a bag. i hope it helps!
by some ant traps from a hardware store and put them outside not inside as this will entice them in more, in three to four days they should be gone. if problem persists there are other poisons you can buy like ant sand but be careful if you have pets.
whatever you decide to do, make sure you will treat the outside as well as the inside of your house. They are many good products on the market you can easily buy. Ants traps and granules work very well.
Just make sure that any sugary items are in good tight container and take out your garbage every day.
Ants nest are easy to find, you just have to do some kid detective/fun work and follow the line. With some patience you will find the source.
Its possible, but, my bet is that they recently moved in the neighborhood and are looking for food. Your house is full of food for them.
Go to the drugstore and get some Boric Acid Crystals...(used for killing roaches also). It will be in the drugstore, and for the life of me, I dont know why? LOL!
Or, you can kill the ants using Ultra Diazanon, (its a concentrate that you can buy at True Value Hardware Stores, and one half gallon makes 60 gallons!). This stuff is POWERFUL! It will kill everything, including termites! So, be careful and read all directions with regards to fruit trees and gardens and thier proximity.
