I have been getting these mysterious holes in my lawn. They look like snake holes but there is a lot of them.?
Question:What could be the cause of this. Im baffled!

Most likely moles. Moles like to eat grubs, so check in your soil - flower bed - and see if you have grubs (fat white & look like naked caterpillars). Treat the grubs and put out some mole traps (home depot or Lowes). Once the grubs are gone, you will have removed their food source. If that doesn't do the trick, have an exterminator come out.
Sounds to me like you have an armadillo problem. Wait till nighttime and just quietly check your yard. If it is in fact armadillos, they will only be out at night.
my father has what sound like the same holes in his yard. his were caused by, if i remember correctly, gophers or moles. you could always have a "bug expert" come check them out. someplace like orkin or another kind of exterminator. hope this helps!!
Sounds like it could be moles,they do make a mess of your yard.You need a dog that likes to hunt,that will take care of your problem.
