Why is a job with Vector Marketing (Cutco Cutlery) such a scam?

Question:I've heard mixed reviews. Some people say it's a scam. I don't know how it's a scam when you get paid whether you sell the stuff or not. If you do the math, 14.25 per appointment, and you get 20 appointments a week, that's 285 bucks for that week. Then, if you make any sells, your pay is even better...and you can't tell me you can't sell at least one thing out of 20 appointments! I just don't see the scam...I did hear they don't take out taxes, so you end up paying taxes during tax season, but if you're making good money, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to begin with. I guess I'm just not understanding how this is a scam. *shrugs*
