How long can a house plant live?
Question:i have this plant hanging by the window ... im not sure what kind it looks like a spider it has long thin leaves. but its been there since 1988. is this going to be alive for ever?

Hopefully! You must be doing something right if its still alive and flourishing after 19 years. Keep up what ever you're doing. Plants can live for years and years if they receive adequate amounts of everything they need. Water,light,soil, fertilizer, and love.Good luck and good job!
if you take care of it it will live. If you give it to me it will be dead within the week. I have a brown thumb. If you give it to my husband it will live forever and ever. He is a wonderful gardner/husbandman
It sounds like a spider plant, which are hardy plants. Just give it water every few days and a sunny spot and it will live for years.
