How do i save a plant that is almost dead?

Question:

Answers:
What kind of plant is it?

There are many reasons that plants die.
we kill them with affection by overwatering them...
or, we don't water them often enough...
we let them dry out and they die.
we put them in sunlight when they only require open shade.
we let them get "rootbound" where they choke themselves to death.

I'm choosing the last one...
take the plant and "replant" it into the next larger sized container.fresh soil...loosen up it's roots before replanting...give it some plant food.
AND.research what kind of plant it is (on the internet) and follow the directions for it's proper care and feeding.
In time your plant will thrive once more.

It depends on the plant - but generally if you give it a good soaking with water with a little bit of house plant food in it, make sure the water can drain (very important - don't let it sit in standing water too long) and give it moderate rather than real direct hot sunlight - then it might have a chance. If it is a delicate plant like a violet or orchid it might need some extra care.

good luck!
It depends on what plant it is. Most of the plants, you would cut the dead leaves, stems, flowers off. Water the plant and make sure it is damp at all time. Do not soak it.
