How much should I pay for a man to take away the following...?

Question:A fridge freezer,7 old tyres and 6 black bags full over garden waste

Answers:
50.00

does he have a rate already? I would say if he is removing and disposing all of this for you, I would give him $50. That is a great deal compared to what a lot of these companies will charge.
Council should do it for 10 squid...might have to wait 2 weeks tho.
for him to dispose of that stuff going to cost him least $50.00, so double that
Depends on the distance to the local dumpit site.

All these items can be disposed of for free if transported to your local site. £10-£15 should be more than enough.
£70.00
€102.35
the council it costs £16. like any other stuff old beds etc
a fridge freezer will cost around 10£ to dispose of. tyres around 2£ each and your local council should take away garden waste for free if you call them up (atleaset if you live in london).
we have a rag & bone man every week, he collects it for nothing
I think $100.00 is fair. It shouldn't take more than an hour to load, have you ever tried freecycle.org? If the fridge is working someone would take it for free. Also most municipalities have big trash pick-up and if you leave those items curbside they are taken away for free.
50.00 he will get money for the freezer any way
I pay a guy in my area about £50-100 to do this sort of work but make sure he can verify he is taking the items to proper tips and is not a crafty fly tipper! My chap has his tip user card and will allow you to ring the Council to verify his regular use of tips and recycling units. Some people will not take items that have to be carefully recylced like fridge freezers. Some councils will also only allow their own workers to move items like this.
Fly tipping may come back on you legally so make sure he is legit!
uh... like idk $30.00
I'd expect to pay around £50 for that
The tyres and waste bags are no problem, but to dispose of the fridge-freezer, the freon gas in it must have been safely disposed of, or the system must be sealed and then it has to go to a special site to be dumped. The older the appliance, the greater risk there is of pollution, so the higher the cost of disposal.
I suppose I would expect to pay about £50. You could get rid of the tyres and the garden waste for free at your local tip, and then just pay the council for disposing of the fridge freezer which would make it cheaper. I think councils are getting a bit cheeky these days with getting rid of things - they seem to be quite particular. The item to be disposed of has to be easily collected (ie the council workers won't, for instance, walk up the long footpath to our remote house, they insist that the item for disposal has to be at the end of the drive, easy to remove, etc). I don't agree with it but I have a faint understanding of people who take all their rubbish into a quiet country road, and throw it all over a hedge in the middle of the night!
phone the council

cost you a tenner
