Would you use a keyless lock for your entry door?

Question:

Answers:
No. A $70 electronis lock is too cheap- it has to be junk. Sooner or later, it is going to fail and lock you out of the house. All it takes is for someone to slam the door and jar the battery loose. Any lock that doesn't have a key override is going to cause greif.

If you really want a keyless lock, get a Unican Simplex mechanical one, especially for an entry door. They are much more reliable than the electronic locks.

I would in a second. I hate trying to find the correct key on my ring. Especially when I've had a few too many cocktails.
My locksmith told me to stay away from any of the battery powered combination ones as even the ones that claim weather proof don't last long in a wet location, dispite them costing around 800.
I have one, it cost me 99.00 @Lowe's , it's the best thing i have , i started using it because my kids always lost the keys , and sometimes when the weather it's bad , you don't want to wait outside.
