Plumbing related disasters have been rife in my house recently! The upstairs toilet stopped working completely, the downstairs toilet started leaking and the washing machine packed up and flooded the utility room! This all happened within a week!
Luckily we managed to fix the majority of it but I certainly wished I'd had a rubber dingy and been able to float to the pub in it. Fortunately we live within walking distance of a number of pubs so managed to drown our sorrows!

A real man would swim to the pub.
Oh great. So now we have to take a boat to go to the pub and shops. What are we paying car tax for? ha ha
