How can i get rid of cockroaches i dont want to take them to my new place?
Question:these damn cockroaches are really annoying i had never had them before moving into this stupid place (i moved in with my in laws and they had them! and now im afraid that my stuff has them) Im getting ready to move again and i really get sick if i see these stupid bugs i dont want to take them with me! what can i do?

Start cleaning and packing everything in sealed plastic bags and plastic boxes. Don't take/use paper or cardboard that's been in the house, because the cockroaches lay their eggs in paper. If you can, store what you've packed in a safe place where the bugs can't get into the packages - how about the trunk of your car?
Make sure the place is clean and bug-free before you move in. If not, have it fumigated and then aired out first.
Buy bug poison/bait and put it out in the new place before you unpack. Then, unpack a little at a time - check the inside of the bag/box for bugs before you unpack.
My friend moved from a filthy rental apt to a clean 2-family house. She took her clothing and linens to a laundromat and washed/dried everything before she moved into the new place. That way, she knew everything was clean and she wasn't bringing trouble along with her.
Don't bring any food from the old place to the new place - you'll probably never have the desire to eat food from there anyway. Plan to buy groceries after you move.
I would call Terminex. For about $40 they will eliminate them for you. Throw out flour, opened bags of sugar, etc., and clean thoroughly before and after they come.
Your best bet is to move into a pre furnished place.
EWWWWWWW! I have not seen a roach in forever...I liek the first answer, but I also suggest getting those RAID roach & ant traps, cuz it has stuff in it that the roaches take back to their nest. Good luck.

The best thing to do is probably just spray some roach killer around your room and what not... but make sure before you pack up all your things, SHAKE EVERYTHING that you have. Just keep a close eye out for them.

to completely eliminate the risk of infesting your new digs, first before you move, put out bug bombs in the new house. then use a rental truck to move, you can place bug bombs in the back close the door, and kill whatever vermin are in your stuff. I always bomb the truck when moving!
