What kind of plant is this?

Question:Where can I find a guide to houseplants with pictures. I have found many sites that list plants by names, but I have limited (no) knowledge about the technical names. I recently started buying houseplants and I would like to keep them alive. The last one I bought does not have the little sticker with the name on the pot and I do not remember seeing a sign at the store where I bought it. Blah, blah, blah.

Basically - I am just looking for a plant guide w/ pics.

Home depot and Lowes have great books- you just have to find one for your region with pix. Or try the library. Our Ag Center ( here in central Florida ) has a website with pix. If you send the picture to someone online that sells plants, they probably can identify it- what does your receipt say? Good luck-
