How do you get rid of flying ants or get them away from your house?

Question:seriously i head they ate wood. there everywere in my backyard

Answers:
I see that many people are telling you that it is probably termites, not ants. Here is the easy way to tell, before you spend the rest of the weekend panicking!

First, look at the bug. If you see a head and two body parts, it is an ant. (Termites have a head and one body part, and their body looks like the shape of a cigar.) Next, look at the wings. An ant has four wings of two different sizes. (The termite's wings are four wings of the same size, twice as long as the body.) This is the quick and easy way yo tell the difference.

Either way, you might want to get a professional out there to take a look at your problem. Good luck to you.

Are you sure they are ants? Termites sort of look like ants when they start a new colony. ( or I think they do - i read that someplace when I was a kid.) It shouldnt last more than afew days any how.
Ants and termites do look a lot alike. And they are both pests, though it's the termites that do the wood-chomping.

You might try fly paper. Some people have suggested that ants don't like citrus. Perhaps a few citrus or citronella candles will help?

Good luck!
Call a pest control company ASAP!
These are termites and will be forming colonies in your home. It does not matter if your house is built of brick, there will be a wooden structure underneath.
The longer the termites are there, the stronger the colony will grow.
Make certain the extermination company is licensed and insured. I would go with the 'Big Name Guys' on this...as they have more to loose if they don't eliminate the problem.
Hope this helps!
