You sure do have a Peace Lily. They are one of my favourite indoor plants. I have 5 pots of them growing here in my home.

What I do is when the plant starts to over crowd the pot and become root bound. I remove the plant from the pot and soak it in water to remove the remaining soil.

Then I gently separate the plant. What you will find there are about 7 or 8 individual Peace Lily's growing together. I get another pot and new soil and transplant half of then in the new pot and leave the other half in the old pot. Then I put into the soil slow release fertiliser.

Within a month you will see baby Peace Lily's start to sprout. They are easy plants to take care of. When you see the leaves start to droop that's the time to water the plant. Make sure you don't let them stand to long with water in the bottom of the drip tray. Because that can cause the roots to rot.

If the leaves start to go yellow at the ends that means the plant has been over watered. If the ends of the leaves look untidy you can trim the ends off with clean scissors.

The Peace Lily likes indirect sunlight and doesn't like been in a draughty area's. Be careful not to touch the flower when it starts to bloom, the flower bruises easy and goes brown.

One last thing, Peace Lily's don't like chlorine that's quite often put in our drinking water. To fix that problem pour a bucket of water and let it stand over night so the chlorine evaporates then use that water for your Peace Lily.

Looks like a White Calla Lily...
It's a tropical plant known as a "peace lily". They do best indoors with bright light (not in the sun).
It is a peace lily or a calla lily. It is best inside near a window with no extreme direct light.
It's a peace lily. Unless you live in a warm climate, it is an indoor plant.
They're peace lilies & are indoor plants. Pretty easy to take care of - need indirect sunlight (grow fine under flourescents) & like to be a little dry when you water them. They'll let you know if it's too long by wilting dramatically but perk up a few hours after you do give them water.
I believe that is a peace lily. The white thingy will eventually die and every once in a while a new one will bloom. In Alberta, Canada where I live that is an indoor plant.
It looks similar to a Hawaiian plant called a Anthurium.
I do remember that it is a lilly of some kind though so Anthuriums are ruled out.
