Brand suggestions for generous flat sheet sizing?
Question:So many bedsheet makers emphasize how their fitted sheets have extra-deep pockets to fit taller mattresses (like pillow-top mattresses). Yet no one seems to make the flat sheets larger, so few of them can be tucked in on the sides. Any suggestions for sheet brands that make generous top (flat) sheets so I can tuck the sheet sides in? I don't even have a pillow-top mattress!

I have had this same exact problem and what I do is measure the sheet that I have that fits like I want it to and use that when shopping for new sheets. Also, if you do NOT have a flat sheet that fits well, then write down the size of the largest one you have that still does not fit and you can figure out how large a sheet you would need for your bed. I know that I have found this to be very beneficial and I always carry the measurement of the flat sheet that fits (Yes, I do have sheets that fit now because of this practice!!). Whenever I see sheets I just HAVE to have, I have the measurement that they need to be with me and that solves the problem right there. I have found also that the expensive sheets are not necessarily the best for fit and/or resistance to "pilling". Feel of the sheets before buying and if possible buy them from a reputable department store that has knowledgeable sales personnel (and don't forget your measurements)! Good luck!
I buy Ralph Lauren brand for my 18 inch thick mattress. seems to be fine.
Yeah I have this same problem, why don't they make larger flat sheets? The only ones that I can find that are big enough cost a small fortune.
