I am getting ready to have a garage sale and have a toddler slide and picnic table what should i ask 4 them?
Question:
Answers:
not more than $10.. people come to garage sales looking for CHEAP. If it's sun faded, I would say put $7 on each and take $5. Leave room for bartering....
what do you mean?
Brand name and conditon play a MAJOR role.
If they are Little Tykes and in good shape, don't go lower than 15 on the table and 10 on the slide.
picnic table-15 dollars, toddler slide-10 dollars
(^^^^^great minds think alike ^^^^^^)
Toddler Slide should be $15-25 if new
$10-20 if used
Picnic Table...depends on how big it is...but it should be about $40 or so.
Remember it's a buyer's market and their worth only what people will pay for them ...
My boyfriend is into buying/selling and he aleays laughs when people say "but it's worth "£200"... cos it 's not when the best offer you got is £35
for the slide maybe about 10 or 15 dollars and the picnic table, um..........
maybe the same
If they are in good condition, 1/4 of the price paid. For example if you paid $40 for the picnic table, you should ask 10. 15 if it is excellent condition. I would never pay more than 1/3 of the store bought price for anything at a yard sale.
This has always worked for me. I divide the cost of what I paid by 3. That is my garage sale price. Then if the day is dragging I mark it down to a fourth.
it depends on the quality of the items. if it is in great shape divide the regular price by 4 or 5. I would say the slide should be atleast $15. if it doesn't sell in the first day lower it to anywhere from $10-$12. The picnic table should be anywhere from $25-$30.hope i helped!!
Presuming each is in good condition. I would recommend $50 bucks for both or $30 for each. A little pricey for used goods; however, the "bargining" process needs a starting point. A point that is not unreasonable. $50 is reasonable.
