How do i get my house valued,and how much will it cost?

Hi it will not cost you anything to get your house valued. Just call an estate agent, tell them you are not thinking of selling, but would just like to know how much your house is worth now that you have completed your works. If they are a decent agent they will come round even if there isnt anything in it for them. Then when you do decide to sell you know the best agent to use!
most good r.e. agencies will give you a CMA (comparative market analysis) for free w no obligation
you can get your lender to send a valuer round, as you will now need to adjust the figure for your building insurance (but they will properly charge !)
Estate agents will only give you a figure based on selling, not the property value (if you needed to re-build)
are you in the uk? if so get an estate agent round, they will give you a free valuation.
All you need to do is phone up your local estate agent and tell
them you are thinking of selling your house,they will come out and value your house free of charge and most important,they send you the valuation in writing,hope this helps.

Ask an estate agent to value the house,, (you are thinking of moving) No cost. But, like selling a car, dirty untidy - poor price, polished tidy - much better price. If you want to get the donkeys doodahs price, make sure you've got a donkeys doodahs house.
