That's actually an average size for a 2 seate. Most normal armchairs are over a metre wide.

We have just bought a brown 2 seater.
I know people knock Argos but we are very happy with ours
and it was far cheaper than DFS,Land of Leather and SCS.
i would recommend a chunky, square 2 seater sofa in white or cream. leather is good.
