I live in the midwest(iowa), how long will a peony bloom last?

Question:

Answers:
It depends on the temps, wind, humidity, clean water if cut flowers. They will usually last a week or 2 each bloom. but the bush can bloom for about a month or so.

i'm an iowa girl myself! and i seem to remember that peonies are not especially long-lasting flowers...assuming you are talking about cutting a bloom and bringing it indoors. i used to cut them all the time as a kid (my favorite!) and was always sad that they did not last as long as i hoped.

the site below covers growing peonies, in case that's what you meant...

Not long if there is heavy rain and/or wind. If you're lucky and the weather cooperates, a couple of weeks.
