When using bubble wrap what side goes on the outside of the package?

Question:The bubbly side or the flat side? : )

Answers:
the flat side of the wrap goes on the outside so that the bubbles inside can cushion the item in case of a knock.

It shouldn't matter but I would put the smooth side out.

But the bubble wrap goes inside the package around what you want protected.
Flat.
Nothing goes on the outside of the package...except for postage. Wrap the fragile item with the bubbles facing out, then place in a secure and sturdy box. For added protection put in some of those Styrofoam peanuts.
the flat side goes on the outside of the package.because the bubbles protects your things.
If you're wrapping art, make sure you put the bubbles on the outside so you don't get bubble-wrap spots on your van Gogh - otherwise, you can be creative with your spotty-side choice!
flat side
