What is the best way to ward off mosquitoes?
Question:I live near a creek and mosquitoes are awful. I'm very allergic and was wondering what products worked best. Is citronella effective? Please help!!

use a dryer sheet, wipe it on your body!
suger....jk jk jk! Any kind of mosquitoe repelent or have a bomb fire. Or use those candles that are supposed to keep mosquitoes away. It works trust me I have the same problem.
use bug spray at wallmart i think its called off!

Don't wear lotion or cologne. Long sleeves and pants help protect. Stay inside at dusk when they are most active.
Yes, citronella is good..it comes in a spray.
Also plant the citron geranium around your house.
Avoid wearing blue.
Consume alot of garlic and vitamin B.
There is a bracet that sounds like a dragonfly ...found in sports stores.
I also take Avon Skin-So-Soft lotion and oil camping and it really does work.
I try to avoid the products such as Off, only because they smell so awful and I wouldn't want that stuff on my skin.

Take an asprin, the little buggers hate the taste of it and can smell it through your skin. Some people have tried the flea collars out here in Iraq, but found out it can cause nerve damage. As for me the best way to ward off mosquitoes is to get the heck out of Iraq!
get some praying mantis & put out around your place.
