Which insect has the longest life span?
Question:I know this is a random question... I thought of it when i saw an asian beatle randomly dead in the middle of my floor.
Answers:
The water bears do, they can live long because they metabolizing can come to a stop when they feel that their in trouble . they can do this by sticking their legs into there legs. they can do this to survive fires , the cold ,and can survive getting sucked it a worm hole (like in space!).
I thinck it was a good question .

Q: What insect has the longest life span?
A: The rust-colored wooly bear caterpillar of Ellesmere Island (almost on the North Pole) lives for 14 years. A clear winner? She freezes solid the 11 winter months of the year, thaws to eat for a month, and survives cold down to -95° F (-71° C). Impressive, certainly, but not the winner.
Queen ants live the longest, up to 28 years in captivity. They live as long as their colonies do.
