Which of these is the best way to kill rats? Like a whole bunch of them?
Question:My friend is a crazy gun-nut and wants to try one of his assault rifles. I don't want him filling the place with bullet holes. I think some kind of rudimentary flame-thrower would be more efficient, but he says that would just fill the place with little scurrying balls of fire. What do you think?

I'm told that centuries ago when China had a rat problem that they caught some and sewed their rear-ends shut. Then they would become aggressive and kill a bunch of other rats before dying themselves. You could try that.just saying. :)

rats wow.. get some rat traps and rat poison..if this is a rented house or apartment id contact the landlord.. the health risks involving rats is very serious.. id also cal the hosuing authorities if you have rats this bad and rent.. this isnt fit for human living...also i know this sounds nasty but.. put out capfuls of soda like pepsi coke... the rats n mice drink it and they cant fart or burp so their insides explode and they die..
Betty is right! Contact your landlord if you're contaminated with rats. Rats are serious problem & they will continue to multiply if not controlled properly. I suggest poison them with 'Warfarin' and continue baiting for 10 days, wire traps with peanut butter.
I found the best way to kill them, is to get some rat poison and mix it with some tinned meat, put it where the rats are. In one or two days later you will be finding dead rats. They get used to rat poison, but they can not resist the meat.
