Answers:
i didnt have one after moving into a new property for 2 years i wrote them letters and rang them several times , because i sent my leetters recorded delivery so had proof of contacting them they agreed that they were to blame for not billing me , and let me have the 2 years free , id contact them to cover your back. good luck
Barrat? LoL!
Put aside £25 a month and wait. By the time the utilities company have got their act together, you'll have made a big lump of interest.
Don't worry you will get one.Just be worried how big it's going to be.
They will catch up with you so put some money aside.
Count your blessings..seriously though, get in touch with your water supplier asap, you will most likely get a big bill though..
Could it be that the reason you don't get a water bill is because you're not on your city water system? Is your water coming from a well? Do you have a septic tank instead of the city sewers?
Well you need to ring them again. Ringing them once doesnt mean the person on the phone necessarily did anything about it.
You dont need a water meter anyway, you still get billed for water without a meter its just the same amount every month.
And you will have to pay for the 12 months you've missed!
BTW Have you been paying Council Tax?
It would be better if you got in touch with them, and got it sorted as soon as possible. Its not going to go away. The sooner you have your direct debit sorted out the sooner you can forget about it. If the bill is already quite big they'll let you spread the cost over a period of time.
Keep waiting, Water utilities in the UK are in a mess with thier admin.
We have just had a new, bigger, meter fitted , which we asked for 18 months ago, they turned up about 10 times with all the wrong equipment, job instructions etc.
still waiting for them to tarmac the bloody thing.
We still get charged for the smaller meter and i expect it will stay that way for ever...my water bill is £6 / month !!
Severn Trent..waste of time. 12 months is "warp speed" as far as they are concerned.
Don't worry too much they will catch up to you but they must give you time to pay up, they cannot give you a big bill. They must make it possible for you to pay in small manageable instalments, after all it was their fault not yours!
