What plants/flowers grow well in New England, specifically Maine?


Question:I'm looking to start a small garden but I don't know what plants fare well in Maine weather. I've looked online and haven't been able to find a list of flowers that can survive here. I don't want a vegetable garden; just flowers and bushes.
