We recently moved into a new house that was vacant for a couple of years and have a spider problem?
Question:I kill maybe two a day sometimes less, any ideas as to how I can get rid of them without spending a ton of money.

Wash windows inside and out with a combo of ammonia & water. When windows dry (almost automatically outdoors) go over the entire window (metal frame too, if necessary) with newspaper and kerosene. The kerosene also evaporates immediately but leaves a residue that repels spiders, flies and mosquitoes.
Spiders have their taste buds on the tips of their legs. They also hate the taste of Lemon Pledge. Dust your window sills and doorframes with the Pledge, both inside and out, and any areas where they accumulate. The spiders will find that they don't want to live with you.

pyrethrin fogger kills just about any creepycrawlies. Other suggestion would be to buy a few tarantulas and they would eat all the other spiders within a month or 2. also vacuum cleaner does a good job on the webs and eggs and spiders themselves.
Set off some bug bomb foggers in the house; I used Raid ,comes three to a box, for 6 bucks a box and I used 4 boxes for a 3000 square foot house. Killed just about everything in and out of sight. Be sure to read the instructions on the box. Remove any pets and food. Leave the house for a few hours and air out well when you return.
We stayed away for 4 hours to be sure we killed everything.
go to the store and buy some bug foggers. put 1 in each room and in the crawl space or attic. leave for the day and come back and they should be dead. you may have to repeat once a couple weeks later to get rid of any that hatched after the first time.
