Tiny red spiders / mites?

Question:Ok, I know this has been asked before but there weren't any answers as to how to get rid of these really teeny tiny red spiders. They leave a red streak when you smash them. They are in my mailbox (and I end up with them all over the mail no matter how fast i run out to get it!). They are also all over my pool deck. Unfortunately, i can't use a chemical due to the areas they are inhabiting. Anyone know of any "natural" way to get rid of these little critters??

Answers:
Try rhubarb leaves.
Soak then in water, or if you can boil them in water then when cool remove the leaves and use the water as an insecticide.
Rhubarb as many natural toxins, I have not tried this method so it is not guaranteed but it kills plant bugs so it should have an effect.

No, but if you could use chemicals ant spray would work.
Almost sounds like aphids or spider mites, but I can't be sure without a picture. If it is, buy or order some live ladybugs. Release them in the area in the evening. They will take care of the problem, and they'll leave when they're finished.
Put some moth balls or flakes in your mail box. Insects hate the smell. I put some in my tool shop in a building behind my house and the insects stay away. I don't know about the pool, call an exterminator.

Caution, don't inhale the fumes either, they are not good for you.
