Bait for a rat trap?
Question:uk any ideas ?

we tried loads the best one was toffee as it stuck like glue in the trap and the rat would have to give it a good tug. other than that try hardware stores they have baited traps.
Peanut butter works great, and the favorite cheese!!
nooo don't kill the rat! unless its a humane trap!
my rat likes cheese toast rat treats grapes chocolate there scavengers so anything really!

Peanut butter is great. They have a hard time getting it off and they love the stuff.
I would phone your Local council and get the vermin people out, I did they know where the rat runs are and put poison down all free of charge.
You can't beat peanut butter...Put it in the little cavity thing on your trap..you want to catch it not feed it....
