I would like to know everything there is to know about building one of these style homes, outside and inside.
Are they as "cool" on the inside as I've heard (Temp wise)?
Thanks everybody and God Bless You!
Answers:
We actually recently installed a geothermal HVAC system in an energy star certified adobe home in South Texas that the homeowner and his sons built themselves. I believe they were trained by the people who run the below website.

This house was cool inside during the day with the weather in the 80's and no HVAC system yet installed. This was, however, when our evenings were still cool, taking the most advantage of adobe's high thermal mass. The bigger the temperature differential between day and night, the more mileage you are going to get out of adobe in terms of energy efficiency. This is why for example adobe is so big in the high deserts of New Mexico.
