Help with miniature roses?
Question:I have several miniature roses, but I'm having a problem with just one. It has all kinds of new leaves coming out on it, but before they get any size, they start turning brown on the ends. It almost looks like it's being burned, but I've been keeping it out of the sun and it is still happening. It's blooming like crazy. I don't water it until the soil is dry 1 1/2 knuckles deep. It's got fertilizer. It stays indoors near an open window that almost always has a breeze coming in. I'm at a loss.

plant in in a pot so the roots have enough room,and put it outside.in a sunny spot.i have grown these for years,and i don't bring them in during winter,and they always come back.wind is bad on plants.that makes them require more water,so if you do plant it outside make sure the soil is damp,not saturated.
maybe it has too much fertilizer? also it could be diseased.
Check for tiny red bugs called spider mites. You'll see them on the stems and their webs are almost invisible filaments. Between spider mites and aphids (little green crawlies) they suck the juice from new growth and turn it brown.
I'd especially be suspect of this plant if it's a new addition to your collection. Isolate it from the rest of your plants so the bugs don't travel to the others.
I would take this plant to a good local garden store for a plant specialist to go over it carefully and recommend the proper insecticide. There's also some excellent books on roses and their care available.
id reccomend taking a poop in the flower pot
itll make it smell great
and have a natural fertilizer without chemicals
that is unless you eat chemicals
