If your house was burning, what would you take with you?
Question:Assuming that the people and pets are already saved.
Answers:
Okay. So my kids, hubby and pets are safe...
My car keys
My wallet and purse
My laptop
All of my really important papers and the tape of what I own is in a safe deposit box...
My box of important paperwork and the tape of all the high dollar items in the house.
Important documents
Pictures and if I could swing it, I would grab my hard drives for all computers. Insurance policies or important papers should already be in the firesafe, so I wouldn't worry about those. My bill bin and purse too would make life easier, as would the checkbook! I am about to get together a few bins with the kids' artwork and special baby outfits, baby shoes, etc. and so if that was completed, I'd have to try to grab those too.
All my cd's.
My vans.
My two big CD wallets and our big DVD wallet, because those took years to accumulate. And my purse, duh!
I would take my cigarettes and my purse god knows i'll need them
My computer hard drive and back-up drive. That has copies all of all important documents, pictures and contacts in it. You can never be too prepared! ;-)
I would also grab a few sentimental items on the way out. Everything else can be replaced.
I have most of my important documents in a fireproof safe but I would still grab that if I had time. Otherwise, wallet, keys, spare clothes is I had time. I don't want to be running aroudn in the same pair of underwear, especially after I just crapped them when my house was on fire :)
Fire extinguisher and my Handphone to call the firemen and my insurances company.
i have these David beckham soccer boots that i just Love. never worn the and one day i hope to get them signed by David beckham. so i would definitely take them
my handbag and mobile fone nothing else matters i can buy more make up.
