Which heater? gas or electric?

Question:which one is less expensive at the end of the day when you receive your bill?

Answers:
Definitely gas!

gas of course less expensive but higher danger
Gas is the cheaper alternative
This is kinda of a loaded question. Do you now have a gas or electric heater? If you have gas and change to electric you will need a electrictian and may have to upgrade your power panel if you change to gas do you have a gas supply. You didnt say what state your in some places dont have a city gas supply so you may have to have a gas bottle installed and can be costly for a start up...if your north of say Orlando Florida you could think about a gas tankless water heater meaning you have no tank and the unit can be mounted outside on the exterior wall of your house and it only uses and provides hot water on demand you will need to plan and see if only one unit will be enought for your house. If you use a electric tankless water heater the water supply must be min 70 degrees for the unit to work properly plus for each coil in the unit you will need a 50 amp breaker so you may have to update the power panel. gas or electric now days it a toss up
